Fireplace Tools, Forging for Teens and Multi-Generational Holiday Workshop

Fireplace Tools Workshop, Session B
Instructor: Greg AmEnde
Saturday-Sunday, Nov 23-24, 10:00am-4:00pm

This class will cover the making of a set of fire pit tools (poker, brush, ash shovel). Students will learn the basics of blacksmithing, including tapering (drawing out), forge welding, bending, riveting and setting down. Fee payable with tuition $50

Teen Blacksmithing, Session D
Instructor: Greg AmEnde
4 Tuesdays beginning Nov 26, 3:30-5:30pm

This class will teach teen students basic forging techniques. Students will learn how to build and maintain a coal fire and use new skills to make several small projects such as hooks, fire pokers and hand forged jewelry. See “more info” for what to wear and bring to class. Fee payable with tuition $10

Intergenerational Workshop!
The Celebration of Light Workshop

Sunday, Dec 8, 2:00-4:00pm

All ages are welcome to come with children to this holiday workshop. Paint and decorate a small house that holds an electric candle. Reflect on the qualities you would like to illuminate in your home this holiday season and those you would like to share with your community. Please note: tuition and materials fees are per person. Fee payable with tuition $25.
