JESS REEVE
Jess holds a BFA in Ceramics from Hartford Art School and a Post Baccalaureate from Colorado State University. After leaving Colorado, she moved to Portland Maine and worked as a studio assistant for Ayumi Horie Pottery and was the Production Manager at Campfire Pottery in Westbrook, Maine.
Jess took her very first pottery class at the Guilford Art Center where she was taught by Debbie Staub. She fell in love with the medium, which led her to complete a degree in ceramics. While a resident at GAC she has continued her development as a potter, both throwing and hand-building functional pottery with a focus on decoration, pattern and color.
