How a painting is presented can make all the difference, especially for small works. In
this class we will learn basic Encaustic Collage techniques and construct a beautiful,
gilded frame. Our simple frame construction materials will be masked by layers of
iridescent Encaustic paint that will mimic old world gilding effects. There will be a
reserved area to accommodate a small artwork. Then we will create an Encaustic collage
that we can pop right into our frame creating a beautifully finished piece of art. No
carpentry skills required. All levels welcome. Fee payable with tuition $20.00
