Write, draw, and color your favorite (or original) spooky story in a simple zine format you’ll construct yourself. Later, you can photocopy multiples to give to friends and family. We’ll discuss classic and unusual story arcs, page layout, and how to pace your story using a storyboard. You can use provided markers, colored pencils, crayons, paints, stamps, and colored paper to illustrate your stories, as well as use glue, tape, scissors, and craft knives to assemble them. All skill levels are welcome! The teacher will provide a list of recommended books and websites with paper zine and mini book projects for further exploration.
