
Mandalas have been created throughout history using symbols, patterns, and colors that radiate from a central point, often inspired by forms found in nature. Creating and meditating on mandalas can help calm and focus the mind, supporting feelings of inner peace and connection. Students will design and paint their own mandalas on canvas using paint and mixed media. We will explore traditional mandala designs and meanings, then sketch and paint original compositions. Participants may also incorporate chakra stones, botanicals, affirmations, and collage materials. Crystal bowl sound bath music will accompany the process to support a calm, creative atmosphere.
