Inspired by contemporary artist David Hockney, we will explore how he used bold color, simple shapes, flattened space, and expressive design to capture the personality of his beloved dachshunds. Rather than copying his work, students will study key elements of his style and apply these techniques to create a unique, colorful portrait of their own pet.
