Metals and Jewelry Art Class at GAC

This workshop will cover the basics of how to set up your own soldering space,  torch and tank, including safety issues. We will cover soldering basics to advanced, from butt joints to stick soldering, and how to support metal for hard to reach joints. Great for those who have been taking jewelry classes but want to understand or improve their soldering. Bring in your problem soldering jobs and we will work on ways to solve them. We will be using acetylene/air torches and oxygen/acetylene Little Torch. There will be a portable oxygen/propane Little Torch setup to try out as well. You can even bring your own setup if you need further help. Extra tips and tricks will be included!
