A special new class for children to explore the arts creatively and openly. Learn about a
variety of mediums and techniques as we engage in exciting projects geared towards
children’s interests. We will learn about drawing, painting, collage, chalk paint, paper,
clay, printmaking and sculptural forms of art. We will look at some different types of
artists that use color, form and objects to express in unexpected and exciting ways.
Children will gain experience with color mixing, using varied types of brushstrokes and
tools to gain textures and lines, creating watery and dry paints, and making art on a
variety of surfaces such as wood, fabric, plexiglass, clay and rice paper. Fee payable
