Projects may include a selection of international crafts like lantern making, printmaking, weaving, painting, clay work, and wax resist techniques, offering a hands-on introduction to art from a variety of cultures.

Art & Literature Series: Art of Classic Fairytales

Book Arts

Explore the world of fairyland through art projects inspired by beloved magical stories such as Thumbelina, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel, Cinderella, and The Frog Prince. Children will also have the opportunity to create their own fairy tales.

Create talking animals, magical towers and castles, mysterious witches, helpful fairy godmothers, fairy princesses and princes, wands, and tiny fairy houses. We will incorporate natural objects and work with clay, paint, and many other mixed-media materials in our projects.

“Fairytales can come true, it can happen to you if you believe.”
