Make monster costumes (masks and hand coverings) using fibers and mixed
media. This will include learning how to make wire armatures and do wool felting techniques.
Students will also be able to watch (and try) how to process raw fleece (washing, carding,
dying). Finally, we will work on incorporating found objects into our sculptural costumes. In
between art-making sessions there will be lots of time to play and practice our monster dance
moves, growls, and roars!
